Software Engineer

In this position, you will be a part of the team delivering Intel's new exciting solutions for large-scale clusters and data centers. You will play a critical role in a development team to design, develop and support cutting edge, state-of-art products for provisioning computing systems from one-building data centers to WAN grid computing environments.

You should possess at least a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent technical degree with a minimum of two to three years experience in developing for a Linux* and/or UNIX* computing environment. Additional qualifications include:
- A strong, proven ability to develop portable code in C programming language and support already existing code
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Willingness to learn and assumed responsibility
- Excellent communication skills (English and Spanish; written and verbal)
- Good knowledge of Linux* and/or other UNIX* operating system internals, as well as installation and configuration
- Good knowledge of communication protocols and network infrastructure services
- Knowledge of computer architecture
The following qualifications would be added advantages:
- Experience in development applications in C++ and/or Java programming languages
- Experience in using scripting languages such as shell* or Perl
- Experience in Basic Input Output System (BIOS) or firmware design and development
- Experience in application development for widely distributed systems
- Experience in design and development of applications in Windows* operating system environment
