Requirements:

Answer support calls and email from users onsite. Enter all tickets in our ticketing system.
Provide level 1 user support to end users for desktop/laptop, printer, PDA/mobility issues, application support, active directory account management. Users should be able to contact this person via phone or email. This person will also be active, and assist in, future software and hardware rollouts.
Perform all on-site intervention for break/fix of user laptops and desktops, printers, and Gemalto-approved software. Swap equipment, manage replacement using warranty services of Gemalto provider, if repair is not feasible manage replacement with Gemalto.
MAC work, including Scheduled events such as installations, upgrades, changes or moves, of hardware or software.
This staff will also be used for basic LAN and Server support. This includes:
Provide initial hardware setup in accordance with Gemalto’s hw hardening policy, operating system installation, standard software installation, security and compliance review with Gemalto IT, server component configuration and installation of monitoring tools.
Provide patch updates after patches are tested and approved by Gemalto IT, resource management such as disk space, RAM and processor capacity, operating system upgrades based on the Gemalto IT policies, relevant component upgrades and/or changes based on Gemalto IT policies, issue management and escalation to external vendor(s), maintenance agreement management even if Gemalto owns the contract
Provide management of all server backup/restoration hardware and software, daily server data backups, server image and/or file system(s) restoration.
