Real-time unified (video) communication infrastructure software architect / engineer / tester

Requirements:

- Two or more year’s relevant working experience.

- Bachelor or higher degree in computer science or a similar subject.
- Experience in web application development, with at least one of the common scripting language, such as PHP, Perl, Ruby or Python. Experience with Ruby on Rails is an advantage
- Experience with client side JavaScript development. Experience with the Prototype framework is an advantage.
- Experience with relational databases.
- Advanced Linux operation skills: Preferred: Debian/ Ubuntu
- Advanced knowledge of the SIP standards and drafts

- Understanding of the IP suite application layer protocols in general and especially the ones involving real-time communication and session establishment like RTP, RTCP, RTSP, SIP, H.323 and STUN.

- Understanding of the IP suite UDP and TCP transport layer protocols and its limitations in combination with different NAT/PAT implementation.

- Understanding of common video and audio codecs.

- Experience in using network analyzer tools such as Wireshark.

- Experience in using, configuring, deploying any SIP UAS component is an advantage, especially OpenSIPS or one of it pre-ancestors.

- Experience with video network equipment of a well known vendor such as Tandberg, Cisco or Polycom is an advantage.
